Please...

Problem with arthritis test...?
Is the doctor supposed to draw blood during an arthritis diagnostic test?My mother was complaining about her fingers hurting very badly for a while so she is going to get an arthritis test today. I was on the phone with her and she was telling me that she is going to take an arthritis test and she said the doctor will have to draw her blood. I got worried and asked her why is a blood test needed and she said she doesn't know.Does anyone here know? Are you even supposed to get your blood drawn? I don't see much of a connection so thats why I posted this question here. I know I'm no doctor, so please bear with me. Thank you

If I test negative on the arthritis test does it mean that I will never get arthritis?
I tested negative on several different kinds of arthritis tests 10 15 years ago, does that mean that I will never get arthritis?
