Are online bipolar tests accurate?
I've took many, and they all come out saying that i am in fact bipolar and i need to go to a doctor.But i'd rather not go to the doctor.. i'm a bit embarrassed..

I think I have bipolar disorder, but I'm not sure. I'm looking for an online test that will ask for my past, appetite, sleep patterns etc.I know I need professional advice, so I'm booked in for next monday, but until then I just want to check.

What if you took a bipolar test on the internet and it says that you need to see a doctor, should you or not?
Do you trust those test or would you just blow them off, sometimes I tell myself am I depressed or am I just putting that inside my head. Is being bipolar a disease of the mind or is it an illness? Having 3 boys doesn't help the matter none, no I love my boys, they are my world. They are not the reason that the test said I was bipolar.
What are the different types of bipolar testing?
i know there is a questionaire but how would a doctor really be able to determine it other than talking to you and the questionaire?thanks
If you are high during a bipolar test, does being high mess up the results turning it into a false positive?
somebody i know just took a bipolar test it came back positive, but they were high when they took it, does mess up the test results?or does it more or less prove that they do have it

OK, a few of my friends have pointed out my severe mood swings over the years, which have actually increased in severity, and I have to admit they have a point. My moods are violent and sudden ecstatically happy to suicidally miserable. I have self destructive tendancies too, don't have much consideration for my own health or safety, even when I'm up mood wise . I'm not a nice person when I'm down, but when I'm up I feel like I can do anything. I'm also RIDICULOUS when it comes to money, which I know is a symptom of Bipolar. I do this thing where I research compulsively. I've run into a few of those tests on the net those ''Are You Bipolar'' tests, and they have all come up positive. I know they say 'Don't take these seriously' but i can't help but. I'm only 16, it doesn't seem right that I think the things I think. I should be living my life and having fun, but most days I feel that I won't make it to the end, and buses that go past seem more and more appealing. Friends ahve had to hold me back at times. When I'm in an up mood, I do stupid silly things seriously considering moving to the USA etc without remembering the many problematic points that go with it. And of course I can't go now because durr i ahve school and am far too young.Can someone tell me what happens if you go to a doctor with Bipolar symtoms. I'm in the UK, at 16 would it be confidential? And should I listen to those tests, or just ignore them and assume it's hormones??Yes I cut too, can't seem to help it anymore. I also have severe insomnia, and ironically sob uncontrollably about NOTHING.

I know a person that took, lets say for information purposes only 5 bipolar tests online. Each test said this person was bipolar and should contact a doctor....lol, I took the test and answered the questions honestly and it said I was depressed. Anyways, how much weight should we give these online bipolar tests ?
