Go to a Dr. and get that checked out, they will professionally administer a test to you and see id you are bipolar. Those online tests could be full of crap. But if you feel fine don't worry :) |

I wouldn't really count on internet quizes. The only way to be sure you have it is if you see a psychiatrist which means you'll have to tell your parents that you think you are bipolar. If you don't want to tell them yet, try asking your parents if any relatives are bipolar. Bipolarity is usually gentically inherited. If they can't think of anyone who's bipolar, then you should be safe. |

You shouldnt rely on online tests to diagnose you if you're really worried go to a doctor and get it from them they can help you with it your parents shouldnt flip if you tell them your having problems...they are your parents they should care and immediantly take you to the doctor to truely find out online test arent always right most are done for fun so dont assume that you are go to the doctors hun and find out and your parents need to know they shouldnt flip if they care |

Keep in mind, it is possible that what you're seeing as these "extreme mood swings " and the like are actually just normal problems that everyone experiences. I'm not trying to belittle your problems if it turns out these are causing you a lot of stress, but just trying to say that you're not necessarily abnormal That said, I think you should talk to your parents. Bipolar is a very serious mental disorder, one that can cause a lot of problems with your life if left untreated. However, it is very treatable with therapy and medication. You say your parents would flip and that is understandable. But having a mental disorder, especially bipolar, is simply a chemical imbalance and not something you could have caused or prevented. They won't be angry with you or blame you. What I would do is find a time to talk to one or both of them when they aren't tired or busy and tell them you think you need help. Explain to them what you have been feeling and tell them about the online tests you took. Be clear to them that you feel serious about this and do not feel like it should be ignored. Most importantly, you should begin to see a psychiatrist. Seeing a psychiatrist does not mean you're crazy or weird - in fact, many "normal " people see them to help them with their problems. But these people will be able to help you get better and work with you at a personal level to make sure you are the best you can be. |

You are only 13, and the tests may not be true for your age group. A lot of things that are normal in a 13-year-old are not normal in an adult. That makes sense, doesn't it? Still, if you feel you have problems, ask to see a doctor or, maybe, see your school counselor if you are in school. 13 is a turbulent age for most people. You are not qualified to know whether you have bipolar or not. So, if you're worried, get checked out. Better safe than sorry. |

Everyone "passes " those tests. Everyone. You are 13 and most likely just hormonal. |
