What are monthly disposable contact lenses and would I be able to wear them?
Can you keep monthly disposable lenses in all the time throughout the month and not take them out? So, can you go to bed wearing them every night until the month is over? Also, if I need to wear glasses and have astigmatism in my right eye, would I be able to wear monthly disposable ones?I've worn daily disposable contact lenses before, but I quit because it was a pain having to keep putting them in and taking them out every day, so I want to wear monthly disposable ones as I've heard that you can just leave them in throughout the month and not have to take them out at all.If you want more information, feel free to ask Oh, and I'm short sighted too. So, I have astigmatism in only my right eye and am short sighted.

Can't read small text with contact lenses?
Actually I can read the guides of school subjects, you know na which have solved book exercises etc. when sitted but we have a reading exam tomorrow and we have to read from a distance 'cause we have to read while standing without lifting the book . It will not be a problem if it was a normal book but unfortunately it's an English guide which have small text. So can you give me any suggestions that how can I read it easily?Or Will I bring my glasses with me tomorrow? And there was no soaps in our school, is it safe to remove and wear contact lenses by washing my hands just with water. Please tell me quickly, I don't have too much time, it's already 9 30PM here.

Trouble putting on contact lenses?
Today I went to the eye doctor for a contacts exam and he gave me one to practice with putting on. I couldn't do it even after holding my upper and lower eyelid open However, when I try putting on the lens on my right side, my left eye tends to close and my eye dries out before I get it in. After an hour and with lots of struggle, I finally got one lens on.How can I expect to wear contacts when I can barely get one in? It seems as if my reflexes are too strong... Any advice? Thanks.

Why is everything i see blurry when i put in new contact lenses?

Should I get "Monthly Disposables" contact lenses or "bi-weekly disposable" contact lenses?
Or should I get the non disposable? What are the goods and the bads? I need to choose a lense today and I'm confused.

Do I need -0.75 prescription for contact lenses?
I have a prescription of 0.75 on my right eye which doesn't bother me a great deal on average but can be significant when I try to read powerpoint presentations during my university lectures. Hence, I got a pair of glasses just for this purpose. I wear cosmetic contact lenses every now and then and I have noticed that with contact lenses, everything seems extra blurry with my right eye. 0.75 doesn't make much difference with or without glasses but with planto contact lenses on, I can barely read words from merely an arm length away. I know I should consult an optometrist for this question but before I do, I want to know if I need prescription for my contact lenses as well.I was told by my optometrist that I should only use my glasses for far distance reading so if I get contact lenses with prescription, will that be doing more harm than good since I cannot take them on and off during the day? However without prescription, my right eye vision is blurry yet my left eye vision is relatively good 0.25 . This unbalanced combination makes my general vision with contact lenses very uncomfortable.

When you first put contact lenses in should you be able to see well or would you have to wait a few days?
Also would your sight be blurred at first?

Getting contact lenses on and off?
Okay, I bought contact lenses about a month ago. They're soft cosmetic lenses Geo lenses , so I haven't been to the opticians or anything for a " fitting" I'm really nervous about putting them on and taking them off I tried putting them in earlier today, but my eye just flinches when I try to put it on, and it gets caught in my eyelashes. That, and I'm really worried about taking them off I really don't want them to get stuck in my eye, with me having no way to get them out as I have no one to help me, should I need it .Would I be better just asking my optician to help me? I really want to do it myself, however, I understand I'm a nervous WRECK.I would greatly appreciate ANY advice regarding taking them on and off. Thank you so much
