Diet Medication Information

Question: Prescription diet medication recommendation?

I'm going to the doctor tomorrow and have been thinking about asking for prescription diet pills. I have been following a 1200 calorie diet with exercise 3- 4 times weekly and I'm just not getting results. I have 40 lbs to lose to reach an ideal weight. I would like some advice from those who have used prescription diet drugs, so I know what to talk to the doctor about. Thank you! or advice from anyone who knows about diet prescriptions! anything would help!

I personally have not used prescription drugs but i know for a fact that prescription phentermine works!! These 3 women from my job and my mom at one point went to thise dr and got phentermine and vitamin B12 shots (i think) and they all lost alot of weight fast. The only thing is the pills gave them alot of energy so they were up all night long, which isn't a bad thing since i work nights. But the one girl she has lost ALOT of weight. But it cost them either $60 every week or $60 every two weeks
