Everything you eat, drink, apply to skin or hair is metabolized by the liver. regardless of being on antiviral chemotherapy or not, no one should color their hair. there is scientific evidence of hair dyes playing a role in lymphoma's. hcv is typically termed more of an auto-immune disease because in reality, hcv doesn't just reside in the liver-it resides in all of our bodily organs and tissues. hcv only needs the liver as it's host for reproduction. alcohol is an ingredient in all hair dyes as well as other chemicals. in the hepper world, we advise no alcohol whatsoever-that means if your going to clean your home, wear gloves to prevent the skin on the hand from absorbing the liquid, no rubbing alcohol, no drinking it......it's bad enough that shampoos have alcohol in it. it's really up to you to make that decision, but i believe in your best interest is not coloring your hair. good luck to you!
