Negative blood and viral culture test but still have herpes symptoms?

The morning after having sex I had a small, raised red sore about 1 cm long on the shaft of my penis. It isn't painful or sensitive, and I'm hoping it could just be irritated skin or possibly an infection. I plan on seeing a doctor tomorrow but I'm very anxious about it.
Can someone help me with these possible herpes symptoms?
okay, so i got a swab today at my gynecologist, but i just can't wait. im not sure if i have herpes. i am a virgin, but i have had oral. but recently i have had all of the symptoms of a yeast infection. i've had one before so i totally know what it feels like. i took Monistat 1 and it kind of cleared it up, but not entirely. i waited a little to let my period pass, then began taking Monistat 7. i began developing small red, pimple like things on my labia majora ZERO PAIN. there are about 5. they lasted 2 days and went away.i have no pain during urination and the bumps never broke open or crusted. they simply disappeared, like hives. also they got worse with the Monistat 7 being present. these are definitely not warts. i'm very depressed at the fact that i might have herpes.what does this most sound like? and is it possible to touch a herpes outbreak and transmit it to your eye if you hadn't washed your hands?also, on a yeast culture she said she could see a little bit of yeast left, but overall it looks like the Monistat took care of that.i also had a strange discharge. does herpes have a discharge?
How long does it take for herpes symptoms to show up?

Can I have genital herpes symptoms without havng an outbreak?
About 4 5 weeks ago I had an encounter with a woman and I used a condom. I started feeling chills without fever, tingling sensation and sore urethra, some burning sensation on the head of my penis, body aches especially on my lower back after eating, and some sort of left side stomach pain left of my bellybutton. My first bloodwork for herpes came back at .9 for genital herpes which it's equivocal. My doctor wants to recheck bloodwork in 4 weeks. By then, he said it's enough time to know exactly. As of now, I'm taking Valtrex cause of the sysmptoms I was feeling. The only problem is, I haven't got an outbreak yet at all. They say the first outbreak is the worst, but I have the symptoms with no outbreak...Can this really happen?? Have first time symptoms and not have an outbreak???Thank u Amelia for your answer.

Im curious its been a month and a half and i havent gotten any symtpomsIm curious to know if i have genital herpes as well but the doctor said i would need to have a sore to swab for genital herpes. But I did go to the doctors.when did you guys get symptoms?and when did your first outbreak occur from initial contact.the only symptom ive had was a sore throat. but thats it.help?>
Oral Herpes Symptoms?
Hi,I recently discovered a bump right above my lip that looked like acne, when i stretched out my lip i noticed a few smaller white bumps under the skin. I popped the acne or so I think and only the usual yellow fluid came out. I believe its just acne because every time I eat chocolate i get outbreaks, this acne came about a day after eating a lot of chocolate. However i did come in contact with another girl's mouth last weekend. The fluid that came out was yellow as acne always is, but its the invisible dots under my lip skin that worry me. what are your thoughts? Thanks

I had unprotected sex, and oral sex 3 days ago, and today I woke up with a sore throat and achy muscles. Does this mean I have an std like HIV or Herpes???? I know I can't get tested for them right away since this JUST happened 3 days ago, but I am freaking out Someone please help me, is what I am experiencing signs of an std?????now I have a sore throat, achy muscles ALL over, a stuffy nose, and a fever of 100.5. I know it sounds like the flu, but someone told me once that you could have flu like symptoms after exposure to hiv???? please, i can't wait until my md opens tomorow, I need some answers, I'm freaking out
Herpes Symptoms - Do I Have Them?
I have noticed that when I squeeze my penis, I can see bumps... They are the same color as my penis. Specifically 1 just on the edge connecting the head to my urethra which does turn red when I squeeze it. I went online to view pictures and there isn't anything simular to what I am looking at. I researched herpes and found that symptoms included pain in the groin and possibly the legs. I know that you can make yourself think you are feeling the symptoms, and now feel a bit of pressure in the left area of my groin and in my knee. I have been paying close attention to this for 3 days and the bumps haven't gotten worse or better... I haven't had sex with anyone other then my girlfriend of almost 2 years. Could one of us had it before, but been dormant for that long? Could it be herpes?
Herpes Symptoms, but swab test result negative?
So is that herpes? Or blood test is more acccurate?
