I am 37 and i need to lose weight cause i know im way over weight ,i have a big belly and situps arentdoing it?
i weigh 237 and im only 5' 9" what kind of diet can i get on or what should i do about what i eat and shouldnt eat?
I'm just curious, but everyone says anorexics don't lose weight cause their bodies are in stravation mode.....
Then why are they all so skinny?I'm finishing up my project, but it seems that my facts are....contradicting? In parts i say that in order to be anorexic, you have to be below a certain weight, and then other places i say that anorexics don't lose weight because their body is in starvation mode....could someone clear this up for me? thanks so much

I've been on birth control since July 27, had the normal irregular bleeding for first starting, and from then on out I've had a 27 8 day cycle lasting five days, until this month.My Period started a little earlier then i expected with very light pink spotting and was like that for three days or so. Then another three days with heavier bleeding.My period ended last monday, the 9th, and since then I've had a few days of spotting.I'm also losing a little weight, I dropped from 137 to 132 from doing crunches which i started late feb. Will toning stomach muscles cause irregular bleeding?

How do you lose weight caused by meds?
took medicine for anxiety and I have gained 25 lbs to 30 and I know it is not from food. I only eat toast dry with a cup of tea for breakfast and lunch is an apple...if that. I rarely eat lunch nor do I snack..dinner is at 5 30 daily and it can be anything...I used to be a size 5 to 7 now I am a 10 to 12 14 HELP It is not like a diet is needed but this weight is sure depressing me, and here I am taking meds for anxiety and this weight is causing me anxiety...sad, but true....any adviceand yes I work out a hour a day and than walk my dog 30 minutes every night...I am fed up I can not lose this...Yes, I am on Elavil....I tried to go off of it and thought I was doing fine after 6 months and than the I.B.S. came back full force ane the anxiety built up and very close to a panic attack. I suffer those to, however have not had one in 8 months due to me going through a program called Ann Jovicin Process It is a 16 step program and I am on step 8 so far so good...it is a meeting with her once a month and listening to tapes while asleep and reading literature. However I still need meds for the anxiety I am going through. But this weight gain is really getting me down..I have tried Klonopin it did not work for me. I have gone through so many meds it is not even funny anymore...I was like a walking pharmacy till we found one that worked which would be the Elavil...25mg however he wants to up it on me to 50mg and I am afraid more weight will come...I am literally in tears over this....many thank you's for your effort in trying to make me feel better. HUGS now I wonder about my doctor because when they weigh me, he had to notice that my 125 is now 153. or is this just normal and he see's nothing wrong with it argh I am getting so depressed, I can not even tell you. I have 2 boys and my second one made me look like a blimp that I could barely walk. After he was born I lost all that weight naturally. And within a year I went back to 125, when I was pregnant with him I jumped to 170 talk about scarry..I was fine with it though because I knew I would lose it eventually...where as this medicine is horrible, it just started to climb and climb and my closet kept getting smaller and smaller...how sad is this I went shopping for pants obviously and I called my husband in tears saying I don't fit in pants and I have to buy size 10's I cried so hard in the dressing room. And now I am pushing 12's I can not do this, I am so unhappy now...so yeah what is wrong with my doctor GOOD QUESTION> > >

So, my family has a history of being obese. Ya...gross. I am trying to stop the horrible trend. My doctor put me on this appetite surpressor called Phentermine 37.5. He said that I would lose up to 10 lbs a month...need to lose about 70 lbs. Will this amount of weight being lost each month cause my skin to sag? I am 21 years old and I don't think that I am really old enough to have lost THAT much elastisity in my skin. But I would like to know some opinions from others.....Please be nice
