What does a lymphoma feel like?
I'm sure it's nothing, but I've noticed a lump under the skin on my right armpit recently, and it's been bugging me. It's not an ingrown hair or a pimple or anything like that.It is completely under the skin, and while you can feel a hard lump in there, the skin itself looks normal. Maybe a little red, but that's it.The only reason I really worry is because my dad has had non Hodgkins lymphoma for years. His first lump was in his neck though.

My lymphoma story in full.?
Ok, I'v decided to take the time to write this all out in full so that you guys can have a clear observation of what iv gone through. At the age of 13 5 years ago I realised a lump under my chin, small and moveable. Being 13, I had no clue what it was and I went crazy worrying about it, so I went to the doctors, only to find out it was just a palpable lymph node. Soon after, I also found lymph nodes in my neck area, small ones, moveable, like all the others. It had stayed with me for another 3 years, and at the age of 16, I was ill quite a bit and was tired all the time, so I went for a check up, had blood tests done etc, and found out I had glandular fever. 1 Year later I find many more lymph nodes in my groin area and begin to worry again, I showed them to 2 3 doctors, non of which seemed to be concerned as I am, but I pushed for test after test of my bloods etc. and they didn't want to push for a biopsy because they were not concerned one bit.Another year on, I went to my doctors again to have them checked up because I had started to worry about them, with it being a doctor who I hadn't presented them to before, he sent me for blood tests and referred me to a haemotologist, who then also looked at my blood work and felt around with my nodes. He too was not concerned and only wanted me to return in 1 month time to check for any growth in the nodes which have been their for 10 months and havn't grown .I am now 2 days away from finding out the results of my test which were taken 3 weeks ago, and its a very VERY tense moment for me. Would the doctor of called if their was any abnormalities in the tests that have been done? Also, very recently, I noticed MORE lymph nodes, atleast i think they are, in my lower back either side of my spine. Gahh, please reply To add to this, I was diagnosed with stress induced IBS.I have allergies to GrassNutsDustCats i have 2 But I had the EBV 2 3 years ago S

Could it be lymphoma?
Well, to start, I just turned 12, but this is my sister's account that we share, so it's all good. I have reasons to believe that I have lymphoma. I was diagnosed with critical, systemic juvenile rheumatoid arthritis at the age of five and I am currently getting Remicade infusions that weaken my immune system to ease the progression of joint damage. A rare but existing side effect is certain cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma. I've been quite fatigued and weak in the past 3 months, have night sweats, and have regular and very painful back discomfort which my JRA doesn't cause. A few websites have claimed the back pain, if from lymphoma, is because expanding lymph nodes and cells in the area. Last, I found 5 smaller but still enlarged nodes in my neck and 1 node behind my ear that was about 2 cm in diameter around when this all started that were confirmed as enlarged lymph nodes by my pediatrician. These nodes later shrunk to normal size besides the largest one which is now half the size. I was last sick about 6 months ago so I don't believe it's from an infection or anything. And now, I have found that two under my chin and one along my jaw line are the size of a quarter when I roll over them. These lymph nodes do not hurt unless I've been messing with them for a while. My mother is a nurse and I've tried to tell her about the nodes, now I think I'm just annoying her since she tells me not to worry about it. She took me to 2 of my doctors pediatrician and family doctor when I only had the 6 and they dismissed it as " Oh, probably just an infection... Don't worry about it." but, my pediatrician did mention it could be lymphoma and to contact her if anything serious happens. So, my questions to you are Do you think it is lymphoma? I don't want to ask my mom about lymphoma because she might think that I'm just thinking too far into things.Do enlarged lymph nodes shrink down to normal size and reappear later on or in a different place when you have lymphoma? Please, if you have any information or think you can help, leave an answer even if it's just a tip, this is really upsetting and frightening.I looked up some cases of lymphoma online and some people said that before and even a short period of time after diagnosis, their regular blood work and count was normal. Do you need a specific test to detect lymphoma or should it already be searched for in normal blood work? And, also, my last infusion I had was quite normal until they were ordered to draw more blood than usual. My mother was pulled out of the room for a minute, she never told me why. Should I be concerned about this or do you think it's normal to occasionally draw more blood, maybe to begin different tests than usual?

Do you think this is lymphoma?
Iv had palpable lymph nodes in different parts of my body for 5 years now. At first I had a blood test and was diagnosed with mono. The first ones that I realised on my body were under my chin, back of my head, under my jawline and on my cheeks. Im a bit of a hypochondriac too and jump to the worst conclusion to everything thats wrong with me.Then, 9 months ago, I realised I had quite a few nodes on either side of my groin, id never checked there before, so they could of been there even longer than what I thought they had. My doctor doesn't seem concerned because they have not caused me any problems and they havnt grown in size. But it is very concerning to say the least, iv had blood tests done that all came back fine, and im going to see a heamotologist on monday but im not 100 % sure what they are going to do there for me.I keep telling myself I have lymphoma and scaring myself over it My symptoms are Random twitches in muscles only recently I had a short spell of fatigue for a few 3 weeks a few weeks backA cough that was treated and has now gonePut a bit of weight on recently tooWas diagnosed with IBS recentlyI have a recurring temperature too in my forehead and stomach. Also, I get random burning sensations on my skin.

Enlarged/Swollen/Inflamed lymph nodes and causes? Lymphoma?
Hey I am 15. I haven't been to the doctors. But I did find this thing in my neck. It isn't pushing my skin meaning it isn't causing a lump but i can feel something small inside my neck. Towards the middle and a little towards the back not much but a little. It's also on the right side. It's kinda hard. It doesn't hurt. It is like a little ball. It isn't creating a lump. I don't think I'm fighting infection because I have no fever no fatigue or loss of appetite. I don't have any Lymphoma symptoms but i can feel this.

Lymphoma question~ What stage could it be?
I just found out a friend had Lymphoma and she didn't even realize it. It started out with just a rash and the Dr. gave her cream and IV treatment. It only got worse the next couple of weeks when she woke with blisters from head to toe and her face is swollen. They said she has lymphoma but the blisters and swelling are still bad. I have not heard anything on stages or type but I have never known anyone with this cancer before. I was wondering if anyone could give me a ball park on stages and what it sounds like she might be. I pray she will be okay she is an amazing person she is so uplifting. I looked up different stages on the net but they are still running test.
