Is it possible to have multiple lymphoma symptoms, yet still not have/get it?
A friend of mine has many symptoms related to Hodgkin's Disease and or Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma.. occasional mild night sweats mild anemia joint pain lymphadenopathy small lymph nodes in the both armpits and neck tiredness last winter she had unexplained weight loss and loss of appetite, but that seems to be resolved as she's eating fine and has gained some weight backThe thing is, a few months ago, a few CT scans and ultrasounds of her chest, abdomen, and pelvis have proven " unremarkable" save for the small lymph nodes.But the thing is, the other symptoms still remain. We were starting to think she might just be alright, but then the joint pain kicked in a week or so ago. She's going to see her physician in a few days, but I was wondering if anyone else had any insight on this matter as to what could be going on, or if there are other possiblities?Just wanted to add, her PCP has mentioned that it's still possibly just an infection, but this has been going on since last fall. It had started with h. pylori. The doc said it may be some kind of infection digestively.Her oncologist has said despite the lymph nodes, they're not big enough to biopsy and that he can't do anything until " lymphoma hits us right on the head" and that it didn't matter if they started treatment now or 6 months later which is when her Radiology recheck is . Is that all true?I care a lot for my friend, I'm just hoping if this is indeed lymphoma that in taking her to the doctor often and getting checked for each symptom will increase her chances of making it through this..
How soon should lymphoma symptoms start?
I have had a very hard lump under right jawline for a while that wont go away with antibiotics. Im gettin it tested yes but Im thinking its cat scratch fever..AGAIN.Its been there a few months, just wondering, if it was lymphoma, wouldnt I already be experiencing some other symptoms by now?

I have painless swollen lymph nodes in groin, armpits and front and back of neck. There are more and they are bigger on my right side.I also had itching and rash on stomach and legs and arthretic type joint pain. Doctor did tests for ross river fever ,they came back as a possibility and and had to do another blood test in 2 weeks. This came back negative. Doctor wants me to wait another month and see how the nodes are then.He did raise the possibility of lymphoma but as he thought it was ross river i htought it was ok but now that i dont have ross river fever I I think this is a bit ridiculous as my symptoms havn't inproved so i will be going to see another doctor as i dont want to wait. My question is for people who have had any similar symptoms and or beed diagnosed with lymphoma. My symptoms are in the order they presented themselves starting about 3 months ago Painless swollen lymph nodes in groin, armpits and front and back of neck worse on right side Headaches and dizzynessNausea and loss of appetiteRash on stomach and legs that comes and goesJoint pain mainly in legs, wrists and handsLow grade fever that comes and goesFeeling sweaty all the timeItchyness mainly in arms,legs and feet, sometimes feels like bugs crawiling on me really bad at night time Stabbing pains in left chest and trouble breathing started about 2 weeks ago and gotten worse in severity and frequency I have had lots of blood work done including blood count and chest xrays and all are normal.Any advice and help would be greatly appeciated. Thanks.sorry forget to add the last week i have also had a 'stuffy' nose like a cold. It has been very bloody and have actually had 2 blood noses which i dont get. Also my period are very irregular and painfull and ive never had any problems with my periods before.No I have not had 'drentching' night sweats but definetly alot sweatier than normal the itchyness is getting worse its driving me crazy am seeing another doctor on friday and will push for the biopsy a.s.a.p. Have had blood work done but was normal. thanks for your answers.

Lymphoma symptoms for people who have had it?
When I first started having lymphoma symptoms one of them was stiffness at the base of my skull and I thought i had just slept funny. But by the next day it had got worse and the muscles and joint aching had spread to my hands and wrists and the next day to my legs as well. I couldn't open and shut my hands or walk properly for 3 4 days the pain was that bad. After seeing a doctor he thought I had Ross River fever and put it down to that. Now im told I don't have Ross River Fever and am being checked further but the pain in my neck has started again and is starting to hurt again in my hands and now arms. Am expecting my tomorrow to have the pain in other places again like last time. Just wanted to know if anyone with Lymphoma had this type of thing happen to them as a symptom. Thanks.Just to be clearer the symptoms I have they are Swollen nodes in neck, groin and armpits.Low grade fever off and on.Itchiness its getting really bad and driving me insane. Stabbing chest pain and trouble breathing.Pressure on my wind pipe and hurts to swollow like there is a lump there.Head aches and dizziness.
Lymphoma symptoms? Has anyone who has had lymphoma also had problems with their period?
For the past two years I have been having problems with my period. After the first round of blood work Doctors told me I was in early Menopause at age 39, I was on progesterone for about 1 1 2 year and then I started to have period again. I have been extremely tired over the past 2 years. Now my Doctor said I'm not in menopause and has stopped the progesterone, however my periods have stopped again. I'm not very hungry, but I don't seem to be losing weight. In fact my stomach seems to be painfully bloated toward the top. I read some of the symptoms, I did have night sweats, but I thought that was menopause. My lower stomach was very itchy, and from time to time I will have a few itchy spots. Just wondering if anyone with lymphoma had similar problems?

When they say painless lumps in throat, armpit or groin, do they mean to the touch or when you don't touch them or at all. I've had a swollen lymph node for close to a year now and it hurts now and then, but not to the touch just sometimes it feels like a quivering pain.

Lymphoma Symptoms Question?
What are some sings of Lymphoma. I have some enlarged lymph nodes in my upper groin area and they are somewhat painful throughout the day. If pressure is applied it does hurt a little bit more. I was just worried that it is Lymphoma. What are some symptoms of this disease?

Can you clarify "itchy" for me (Lymphoma Symptoms)?
I am being tested for Lymphoma biopsy removal of lymph node and I see that one of the symptoms is " itchy" ... I've noticed that I've been very " buggy" lately I keep feeling like things are crawling on me ... it even wakes me through the night. Would you consider this itchy??? Or do you think they mean itchy, like you develop a rash??? Thanks for your thoughts
