Does anyone have any tips on managing psoriasis?
It's mainly on my knees and lower legs, and I have a little on my elbows. Now that it's summer, I'd love to wear cute dresses and shorts, but I want to clear up my psoriasis first. Any suggestions?
Questions about scalp psoriasis and wigs?
Because of scalp psoriasis, should I invest in wigs?The psoriasis on my scalp has gone from just the edge of where my hair began, to an area of around 60 % of my entire head over the course of the last decade. I've gone the long hair route, and it was a problem. Short hair, though convenient, doesn't really change anything. I was wondering if there was anyone out there that decided to invest in wigs after having scalp psoriasis? What do you guys do for your scalp treatment?I'm 1 2 white and 1 2 Filipino, and I've been thinking about investing in wigs but I'm not sure how to find the best one for me, if I should shop online, the differences in wig quality, what a laced wig is, etc. Also, I feel like I'd be self conscious at first by wearing a wig I currently have above shoulder length hair and just showing up one day with longer hair. How can I transition into being more comfortable about my wigs in the future?

I have pretty dry skin but where my scalp is my skin tends to get so dry pieces of it like thick scales come off it's not like ordinary dandruff and it's just annoying not to mention gross and they're not scabs

How to get rid of psoriasis?
i have had psoriasis for about 10 years now and it just started out behind my ear. well now its like all over my head thank god i have long hair but it itches and flakes and i dont like it its embarrasing. i have tried to go to the doctor and they gave me stuff for behind my ear and it works amazing but they told me to use t gel for my head. well that stuff doesnt work for me and also smells horrible.Does anyone know of any at home remedies that i can use. is there a way to get rid of this for good??? also what about the head and shoulders would that work?? thank you so muchif i were to use the t gel since there is no condintioner for it can i use my own condintioner or should i just use the tgel by itself??

well i have been diagnosed with plaque psoriasis and i would like to know if there is anyone tht knows about it and if you do could you answer these questions1. i know its simallar to ashma so is it like where it will only pop up like every now and then like if not cared for propoly?2 is there like any long term affects of this ? i mean like i know it lasts along time but i mean can it last forever and is there anyother effects from itand if u can answer these is there any other things i need to know about this?? please no websites i need direct answers?

so i have nail bed psoriasis in my finger nails. The doctor gave me some cream 5 months ago with little improvement. She told me i may have to take some toxic medication that may harm my liver if this cream didn't work, My nails are scaly and are getting chipped and caught on everything. They bleed 24 7. Is there anything else out there i can try to fix my destroyed nails.

Beard causes sores that look like Psoriasis?
My boyfriend's beard after only a few days of growth causes sores underneath that itch and look similar to psoriasis it only occurs under his beard and he's wondering what he can do about it and what might be the cause... and i obviously having never grown a beard have no clue. I suggested that dead skin and skin oils get stuck under there even when he washes his face and could be the cause but he won't listen to me lol

ok, so i have psoriasis.. uhm, what's the best HOME REMEDIES i could use. to ease it.. or for the best C U R E IT , but i know tht aint possible.. well highly unlikely. Ok, and i have one more question..uhm. what causes psoriasis in the first place. i got mine when i was around 7 8 yrs old. it went away in the summer, IF i appy medication its espensiive In the winter my psoriasis stays on my arms, some on my legs and back sometimes on my scalp. ALL winter long. I really need to get rid of this. Will i ever out grow it? i feel so bad. My dream is to become a singer.. and i kindda think tht i can't become an idol, if i don't have C L E A R skin > < plz help. any advice on my questions ??
