I used a 1200 mg monistat ovule last night for a yeast infection. this morning i was in horrible pain. awful itching, burning, stinging. i applied yogurt and felt relief besides a feeling of warmth inside my vagina. a second time i used the tampon method after scooping what i could of the yeast and possibly some of the monistat out in the shower. if i have plans for the night, will the relief from these two treatments likely last until tomorrow?
Is honey effective in relieving yeast infection symptoms?
I read that honey can be used as a home remedy for the itching caused by yeast infections, because of it's anti fungal properties. However, I know honey is high in sugar, which is what the yeast feeds on. It seems like it would cancel itself out.I was wondering if any one has tried it, be it putting directly on the vagina, or eating it. Did it help any, or did it make it worse?

by the way, I'm a girl regardless of my name on here So I took the medicated ointment last night, and woke up and its like 2x as itchy its getting worse and worse, itchier and more sore and red. I'm so miserable.. Is the ointment not working? Its a generic brand of monistat cream. I am taking vagisil with it. Please help. Has anyone experienced the itch this bad after taking the ointment?Also, the medicine come out a little as I walk around I think because it ends up on my underwear little bits at a time. Does this stop it from healing me? I mean its coming out
I have been having yeast infection symptoms for the past few months.?
Mainly just vaginal irritation. I have been to the doctor and have been tested for infections and STD's but all have come back negative. I changed my soap and detergent thinking maybe it was an allergic reaction but that still has not helped. Just wondering if anyone has ever had this problem or has any suggestions. Thanks.
What are the differences between yeast infection symptoms and genital herpes symptoms?
ive had a yest infection before but this one is different i got the itchy and the irritated part of it as well as the white discharge but now i also got this type of sore that burns when i urinate. Can this happen with a yeast infection? or does it sound more like genital herpes?

I had a yeast infection, and I used treatment and I thought everything was getting better and going away, but now it seems it might be coming back only after a few days because there is still that smell, and its still a little bit itchy.. Is it possible for these symptoms just to take longer to go away or is it coming back and should I get more treatment just to make sure? Also would it be okay to have sex during this time, because it seems to be almost gone?

I am 32 yrs old, and have never had a yeast infection before so I am not sure at all about the symptoms other than what I have read. I am a little red, a little swollen and slightly itchy, but not really bad, and there is no bad odor or anything. Anything else this could be, or does it sound typical for yeast infection? I don't want to go buy cream if it isn't, but I don't have any insurance and don't want to go to a doctor on a " just in case" .can my husband have a problem if we have sex.........or should I wait until I am done with the cream?

Okay i'm a little tired and its late so heres what i haveA itchy Clitorus not severe but it's annoying When i 1st lost my v card on christmas eve it was fine nothing bad but when i had sex again on new years day afterwards the outside burned a little. I thought it was because i just got a little stretched open so now it doesn't burn at all BUT OMG it ITCHES and its ANNOYING i itches when i sit for over 10 minutes and i scratch it with a wet washclothe and it still itches I don't have any discharge or odor and i soaked the washrag in water and a few drops of Tea Tree Oil to stop the itch...do i need to see the doctor? If so hooowww am i suppost to tell my mom? Oh yeah we had sex 6 times on Monday. Can he get it too?AND we used protection EVERYTIME
Had Yeast Infection Symptoms, treated with 1-day OTC treatment, still have some symptoms- what should I do?
I first had symptoms of a yeast infection about a week ago, itching and soreness in labia and vaginal area, clear discharge. I treated it with the drug store brand,1 day, over the counter yeast infection treatment tioconazole . The symptoms got better at first, and I no longer have any discharge, but I am now having much more intense soreness and itching of the labia and vaginal opening. I'm very red and swollen down there. Should I treat with another over the counter medication I've been reading that the 1 day treatment is not the best ? Is there something that it could be that is not a yeast infection?

the last time i was sexually active was three days ago. i was much drier than usual and it really hurt. yesterday i woke up with raging yeast infection symptoms so i went to the dr where i was prescribed diflucan. today the yeast test came back negative, so im getting tested for other things tomorrow. my discharge is white and cottage cheese textured, and doesnt smell bad. my labia are really itchy and burny and swollen, as is my clitoris. typical yeast infection symptoms but a negative on the test?? so my questions are how long does diflucan take to help? is it possible to get a false negative on a yeast infection pee test? could this be anything else?
